The bill aims to protect the interests of rights holders of real estate and provides for the exclusion of access to information of third parties, except state agencies, to personal data without the consent of the citizens.
MOSCOW, 6 Oct. The government will review approved by the Commission on legislative activities, a bill on the protection of personal data contained in the Unified state register of rights to real estate, reported the press service of the Cabinet.
“The bill is aimed at ensuring the protection of personal data of Russian citizens, rights and legitimate interests of the right holders of real estate. The bill has been approved the Ministry’s technical comments. The bill will be considered at the government session”, — noted in a press-service of the government.
The bill was introduced by the government in the FSB.
“The Commission on legislative activities has approved discussions of the bill aimed at protecting the rights and legitimate interests of the right holders of real estate”, — explained in the Cabinet.
According to the draft law “On amendments to certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation on state registration of rights to immovable property”, it is proposed to exclude the possibility of access by third parties, except state agencies, to personal data of the holders of immovable property without their consent.
“At the same time provides the possibility of providing personal data of the holders of the real estate market participants in order to protect in court its rights and legal interests. The proposed mechanism of protection of personal data aims to protect the rights and freedoms of citizens stipulated by articles 22 and 23 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation”, — have informed in the government.
