MOSCOW, 28 sen. Deputies of the state Duma from the CPRF Valery Rashkin and Sergei Obukhov asked the head of Sberbank Herman Gref with the request to open branches of credit organizations in the Crimea and Sevastopol in the near future.
In the Deputy inquiry, the text of which is available, it is noted that, according to the official website of Sberbank in the Crimea and Sevastopol there is no branch or ATM of the credit institution.
“In order to avoid infringement of the rights and interests of the residents of Crimea and Sevastopol asking You to consider opening in the shortest branches of the savings Bank in territory of subjects of the Russian Federation the Republic of Crimea and the Federal city of Sevastopol” — wrote the deputies of the Gref.
According to Obukhov, it is unclear why the savings not going to suspend its activities in Ukraine, and not opened any branches in the Crimea, where he can make a profit.
“This behavior does not fit into the logic of even a private company, not to mention the proper behavior patterns with the prevailing state participation”, — said Obukhov.
Rashkin also noted that it is unclear why the Department of Sberbank will continue work in Ukraine at a loss, and “in the Crimea, these same banks behave as if this isn’t a territory of Russia”.
