MOSCOW, 9 Oct. Foreign investors show great interest in Russian assets, reported to journalists the Deputy Minister of Finance Maxim Oreshkin.
He noted that the representatives of the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank hold regular meetings with foreign investors. “They are interested in the current situation, prospects of its development. Shown quite a serious interest in Russia. Russian withdrawal from the Eurobonds asking always,” said Oreshkin.
“All say that Russia has come quite a difficult period of adaptation that, in principle, were the right decisions taken in combination of monetary and fiscal policies. In fiscal policy are accepted pretty tough decisions, this is desirable, because it allows you to stabilize the situation, to bring it back to normal,” he said.
