The leaders of Russia and Japan on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly confirmed intention to carry out Vladimir Putin’s visit to Tokyo before the end of the year.
TOKYO, 9 Oct. Ksenia Naka. Changes in the plans to hold the Russian President’s visit to Japan until the end of the year there, said at a press conference in Tokyo’s foreign Minister Fumio Kishida.
Putin’s visit to Tokyo was scheduled for the fall of 2014, but did not take place due to the complications of the international situation in connection with crisis in Ukraine. The timing of the visit has been rescheduled for 2015, but specific dates have not yet named. The intention to conduct the visit before the year’s end, the two leaders confirmed at a meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in late September.
“It now remains without changes” — quotes Kisida Agency Kyodo.
