Putin noted that the Union of Armenians of Russia contributes to the harmonization of interethnic relations


MOSCOW, October 11. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin congratulated Union of Armenians of Russia (UAR) on the 15th anniversary of this organization, noting that it contributes to strengthening the traditionally friendly ties between Russia and Armenia.

“Over the years, ATS has grown into a reputable public organization representing the largest Armenian Diaspora in the world – about 3 million people. You make a significant contribution to harmonisation of interethnic relations in our country, spend demanded the implementation of socially significant projects and initiatives in the field of culture, education, education”, – said in a congratulatory telegram to the President, posted on the Kremlin website.

Putin also noted that such a large, multifaceted organization deserves deep respect. He is convinced that the Union will continue to actively participate in the life of state and society, to contribute to the successful development of Russia and increase its international prestige.
