Kazakhstan ratified the Protocol on accession to WTO


The Protocol on the accession of Kazakhstan to the Marrakesh agreement establishing the WTO signed in Geneva on 27 July 2015. The Protocol and its obligations are an integral part of the WTO agreement.

ASTANA, 12 Oct. The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the law on ratification of the Protocol of accession of the Republic to the Marrakesh agreement establishing the world trade organization (WTO) of 15 April 1994, reported on Monday the press service of Nazarbayev.

The Protocol on the accession of Kazakhstan to the Marrakesh agreement establishing the WTO signed in Geneva on 27 July 2015. The Protocol and its obligations are an integral part of the WTO agreement.

Officially Kazakhstan will become a member 162 of the organization at the end of 2015, after the settlement of all procedural formalities. Previously, the Protocol had been ratified by the Parliament of Kazakhstan.
