Potential residents of the Free port declared 7 projects worth 60 billion rubles

Potential residents of the Free port of Vladivostok already proposed 7 investment projects worth 60 billion rubles this was reported on Monday the Minister of the Russian Federation for Far East development Alexander Galushka at a press conference in the seaside capital to celebrate the entry into force of the Federal law on the Free port of Vladivostok.

The Federal law on the Free port of Vladivostok has entered today into force. The regime of the Free port of Vladivostok will operate on the territory of 15 municipalities of Primorye: Vladivostok, Artem, Bolshoy Kamen, Nakhodka and Partizansk, Ussuriisk, Spassk-distant, Nadezhdinsky, Shkotovsky, Oktyabrsky, Partizansky, Border, Khasan, Khankaisky and Olginsky districts, including their marine waters.

The total area on which to apply the regime of free port, will amount to 28.4 million sq. km, the population is 1.4 million people or 75% of the population of the region.
