In the SEZ “Alabuga” will produce raw material for epoxy resins and mushrooms


The Supervisory Board of the SEZ “Alabuga” chaired by the head of Tatarstan has approved four projects of potential residents. Among them are the plant for the production of maleic anhydride, the plant equipment for the production of paving tiles, as well as a factory for the production of mushrooms.

KAZAN, 13 Oct. Irina Durnitsyna. The Supervisory Board of the special economic zone “Alabuga” on Tuesday approved four investment projects of potential residents for a total amount of 12.6 billion rubles, the press service of the President of Tatarstan.

“At the meeting of the Supervisory Board of the SEZ “Alabuga” chaired by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved four projects of potential residents and the issue of increasing the investments of the incumbent resident. The total cost of new projects is 12.6 billion rubles”, — stated in the message.

In particular, one of the approved projects with a total investment of more than 9.9 billion rubles, proposed by LLC “Kamath” (founders — the Russian JSC “PA brown” and German company Chemieanlagenbau Chemnitz GmbH), involves the construction of a plant for the production of maleic anhydride raw materials for the production of epoxy resins. It is planned to produce 40 thousand tons per year, may increase to 60 thousand tons per year. The production startup is expected in the second quarter of 2018.

The project OOO “Plantman” cost 160 million roubles provides for production of equipment for the production of paving slabs, concrete blocks crushing machines — 10-15 lines per year. Year of start of production in 2017.

LLC “Mushroom “Mushrooms” Tatarstan plans to launch a factory for the production of mushrooms with a capacity of 5.6 thousand tons per year. Mushrooms plans to do and LLC “agro Aggies”, proposing the construction of a plant for the production of compost and mushroom growing capacity of 3.6 thousand tons of mushrooms per year. Both are scheduled to launch in 2017.

Also at the meeting the Supervisory Board approved changes to the agreement on conducting industrial-production activity of JSC “Interskol” — the list of products added rigging. “Interskol-Alabuga” plans in addition to power tools to produce welding machines and compressors. The increase in the volume of investments into the project will amount to 500 million rubles.

The SEZ “Alabuga” is the largest and most successful special economic zone of industrial-production type in Russia. Established by the government of the Russian Federation in December 2005 in the Elabuga district in Tatarstan. Currently in “Alabuga” registered 49 resident companies, the total volume of private investments is contracted 154,9 billion rubles.
