Kazakhstan ratified the rules of circulation of medical products in the EEU


Medical devices that will be installed within the EEU the procedure to confirm the safety requirements before release will be marked with a special sign.

ASTANA, 13 Oct. The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the law on ratification of agreement about unified principles and rules of medical devices circulation in the Eurasian economic Union (EEU), said Tuesday the press service of the head of state.

The agreement was signed in Moscow on 23 December 2014. In accordance with the document, the member States of the EEU should conduct a coordinated policy in the sphere of circulation of medical products and medical equipment. In particular, they harmonize their legislation in this area, establish General requirements for safety of medical devices, uniform rules of their circulation. States must also harmonize nomenclature with the global nomenclature of medical devices.

Medical devices that will be installed within the Union of the procedure to confirm the safety requirements before release will be marked with a special sign.

AAAS is an international integration economic Union created on the basis of the Customs Union and the common economic space and functioning since 1 January. Now members of the EEU are Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
