Investment agreement on construction of the plant in Chapayevsk was signed in August 2014. Total investments will amount to 1.2 billion rubles.
SAMARA, 13 Oct. German company Knauf has launched a project on construction of plant on production of plaster mixes in Chapayevsk, the Samara region, said on Tuesday Vice-Governor, Minister of economic development of the region Alexander Kobenko.
“Knauf started the implementation of the project in Chapayevsk. The project is quite serious for us. The total investment will be 1.2 billion… We will be the 15th Playground and hope that the plans will be implemented together with us in full,” said Kobenko.
On the same day to begin installation of main production equipment of the new enterprise — kiln gypsum stone. An area of 17 hectares required for the construction of the plant, is in the municipal property is taken by the company on lease from the state for a period of 49 years with an option to buy the land.
Investment agreement on construction of the plant in Chapayevsk was signed in August 2014. As noted by the Minister of economic development of the region Alexander Kobenko, the Knauf company had to shift the plans to build approximately six to nine months. The opening of the plant scheduled for late 2016. According to the press service of the company, the company will be the 15th in Russia and first in the Volga region.
Total investment in the project is estimated at 1,225 billion. The output of the enterprise at full capacity is planned in 2.5 years. It is expected that the plant will produce about 240 thousand tons of plaster mixtures in the year and have an annual turnover of about 1.8 billion rubles. For the opening the company will create about 60 jobs. Clients can be of various construction companies in the region.
