Leningrad region presented the “Golden autumn -2015” project group “Atria”

MOSCOW, 13 Oct. “The project of construction of new production halls at the site of “Gorelovo” was successfully implemented during 2014-2015 and became part of the 15 priority projects selected by the government of the Leningrad region for demonstration at the exhibition partners for agriculture and consumers. Total investment in the project amounted to 400 million rubles. Opened two new shops — for the production of chilled pizza and the meat products sliced. Production capacity will amount to more than 4.4 million pieces of pizza and 1.1 million pieces of sausages of different variety per year.”, — said the Agency interlocutor.

As reported by the Committee on agro-industrial and fishery complex of the region, “Atria Russia”, which is part of the Finnish group of companies “Atria”, previously made chilled pizza on the ground in Moscow. The relocation of production in the Leningrad region allowed the company to reduce production costs by about 145 million roubles a year.

“Today the agricultural sector of the Leningrad region is able to supply the customer with quality products at market prices. The region provides needs of the population for main food products, including meat,” — said Vice-Governor – Chairman of the Committee on agriculture and fishery Sergei yakhnyuk.

As noted in a press-service, just the APK of the Leningrad region until 2020 it is planned to implement 65 projects totaling about 45 billion rubles.
