MOSCOW, October 13. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin will hold a regular meeting with the members of the Russian government, reported the press service of the Kremlin.
“The main theme (of the meeting) will be preliminary results of realization of the message of the President of the Russian Federation to the Federal Assembly on 5 December 2014”, – stated in the message.
According to the press Secretary head of state Dmitry Peskov, the meeting in the Kremlin “will also be traditionally considered an operational, current issues”.
Meeting of President of the Russian Federation with the government are held quite regularly. The previous event in this format was held in late September.
Implementation Of The Message
In last year’s address to the Federal Assembly the President announced several initiatives to accelerate the development of the country. They were later decorated as a list of instructions of the President, numbering almost three dozen.
Among them, in particular, the preparation of scenarios of socio – economic development in the medium term, providing the output on a specific targets, such as reducing inflation rate to 4%, the annual growth of the Russian economy faster than the global average, the growth of labor productivity not less than 5%. Subsequently, this instruction was clarified by the wording “in the current global economic environment”.
Then Putin at a meeting with members of the government in the spring demanded not to forget the need to achieve the Message objectives in the field of Economics. “Today it seems that this elusive benchmarks, but benchmarks that we should not just keep in mind, and we must do everything to at least in the medium term, overcoming the difficulties of the present day, associated with the market volatility associated with the destructive actions of our partners in the international arena in the field of Economics… to go on achieving just all the settings which are mentioned at the end of last year”, – stressed the head of state.
Also among the objectives of the implementation of the Message – enhancing access of small and medium-sized enterprises to public procurement, prohibition from 1 January 2016 for three years on the implementation of the small business inspections, which revealed no significant violations. In addition, the Message was about “tax moratorium” – unchanged from 2015 to 2018, inclusive of the conditions of taxation and the payment of insurance premiums, about “Amnesty” – free Russian persons from the tax and criminal liability, provided they return to Russian jurisdiction previously bred overseas profits without paying taxes; measures to curb speculative activity and cases of manipulation on the Russian currency market.
A number of these initiatives over the past 10 months have already received the legislative process, including the legalization of capital and a moratorium on planned inspections of business. The government also has repeatedly stressed that will not increase the tax burden in the coming years.
From Tuesday to Wednesday
According to Peskov, “on the night (Wednesday 14th October) the President will fly to Blagoveshchensk”. The representative of the Kremlin did not name the purpose of the visit of Putin in the Amur region. However, it is known that one of the biggest projects in the region is the construction of the Vostochny space centre. It is not excluded that during a trip to Blagoveshchensk, the head of state wants to see how work is going. Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, who oversees, including this project, has reported that it expects the visit to the launch site of the country’s leadership until the end of the year.
