SIMFEROPOL, 13 Oct. Two additional ferry will be allowed in the Crimea in the winter to ensure uninterrupted food of the Peninsula, said the head of the Republic Sergey Aksenov on Tuesday.
Kerch ferry became the main traffic artery of Crimea after Ukraine stopped Russian region by air, rail, bus and freight.
This ferry often have to stop in the autumn-winter period due to the storms.
According to Aksenova, the ferries will go on the route of Novorossiysk-Feodosia, the message is not dependent on weather conditions.
“In the port of Novorossiysk has already prepared two large vessel. Ferries will travel on the open sea, where there are no limits, the more we have the storms last no more than three days”, — quotes the words Aksenova his press service.
Earlier, the Minister of industrial policy of Republic Andrey Skrynnik reported that the Crimea stocked with food in case of stop of the Kerch ferry due to bad weather.
