Russia will study the project the construction of a pipeline for export to Asia-Pacific diesel


The idea of construction of oil pipeline for export of diesel fuel of the fifth class was made by the company LUKOIL, stated Minister of energy Alexander Novak. He noted that the Agency will examine the feasibility of the construction of such a pipeline.

MOSCOW, 14 Oct. The Ministry of energy of the Russian Federation will explore the possibility of building oil pipelines for exports of diesel fuel of the fifth class in the Asia-Pacific region, told reporters by energy Minister Alexander Novak.

“The idea was voiced at a meeting chaired by the Prime Minister on the development of oil refining… the Idea sounded LUKOIL on construction of oil pipeline to the East. We have a Commission to study all factors, the possibility, expediency of the construction of such a pipeline,” he said.

Novak noted that the exact amounts until it is not being explored, given that the main number of refineries located in the Western part of the country. “Here you need to seriously consider the Economics of the project, opportunities, resources. This is still just an idea,” explained the Minister.
