MOSCOW, 14 Oct. LLC “T2 RTC holding” (renders cellular communication services under the brand Tele2) have signed a cooperation agreement with X5 Retail Group on the sale of sim cards in the trade network “Pyaterochka” in the Moscow region, where the operator will start operating on 22 October. The document was signed in the framework of the forum “Russia calling”.

As reported, first Deputy CEO Alexander Provotorov Tele2, about a thousand stores “roundabout” will be installed rack and modules of sales Tele2. “”Pjaterochki” adequate, from our point of view, the coverage in Moscow and the Moscow region — more than 1,3 thousand shops. Our goal is to get subscribers to buy and pay for our services in the outlets located within walking distance,” said Provotorov.

Just after the start-up network operator in the Moscow region sale of its sim cards will start at around 10 thousand points (“Svyaznoy”, “Euroset”, “Eldorado”, “Mail of Russia”, the banks, own the boutique Tele2, etc.). The operator has already started taking pre-orders for sim-cards, there are hundreds of thousands.

According to Provotorov, the cooperation with the “Roundabout” will be revenue sharing business model, the parameters has not been disclosed, but they are “normal market”. The agreement was concluded until the end of 2016, with the possibility of extension. Next year the parties are ready to consider the possibility of cooperation in other regions.

Provotorov again confirmed that in the capital of Tele2 will retain the model of the operator-discounter. “Traditionally we start to work in new regions with lower prices. Specific details of the marketing campaign we will not disclose. But, of course, we should differ from our colleagues on the “big three”. And so far nobody has managed to invent anything better than to vary the price,” said Provotorov.

The operator will offer some simple and clear tariff plans targeted at different categories of users.
