Control of work at the stadium in Yekaterinburg for the world Cup requires 201 million rubles


The sports Ministry had earlier held tender cost for providing services on field supervision of the reconstruction and restoration of the arena in Yekaterinburg. The total cost of works should be more than 12 billion rubles.

MOSCOW, 15 Oct. Subordinated to the Ministry of sports of Russia the enterprise “Sport-engineering” has conducted a tender to perform construction supervision during the reconstruction and restoration of the Central stadium in Yekaterinburg, which is planned for the group stage matches of world football championship 2018; for these purposes it is planned to allocate 201 million rubles, follows from the application posted on the portal of public procurement.

The tender was published in the form of purchases from a single supplier. Services need to be provided until December 2017. Explanatory documentation to the application form is not attached.

Earlier, the sports Ministry held a tender worth almost 21 million rubles for rendering services on field supervision of the reconstruction and restoration of the arena in Yekaterinburg.

The total cost of works should be more than 12 billion rubles. It is planned to preserve and renovate the historic stadium walls, their limits will be built a new complex on 35 thousand places, designed in accordance with the requirements of FIFA.

The first ever world Cup in Russia will take place from 14 June to 15 July 2018. The tournament matches will be played in Moscow, Kaliningrad, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Saransk, Rostov-on-don, Sochi and Yekaterinburg.
