MOSCOW, 15 Oct. Ukraine has not appealed to the Ministry of energy of the Russian Federation regarding problems with the supply of coal, told reporters Deputy head of the Ministry Anatoly Yanovsky.
“No,” Yanovskaya replied to the question, did the Ministry of energy of Ukraine’s application with information about problems with the supply of coal from Russia.
Earlier Thursday, the Deputy Minister of energy and coal industry of Ukraine Igor Martynenko said that Russia blocking delivery of its coal to Ukraine. In his words, “information that will supplies from the Russian Federation, no.” In turn, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk added that now the plan of accumulation of coal on the Ukrainian warehouses in preparation for the heating season fell by 1 million tons of coal.
“If they want to buy (coal Russian companies — ed.) — nobody forbids. But if they don’t buy, they will be interruptions,” explained Janowski.
“This also applies to gas. They want the gas, but they do not buy”, — he added.
