ASTANA, October 15. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin believes the unconstructive position of the USA, who refused to accept the Russian delegation.

“I believe that this position is not constructive. And the basis of the weakness of this position, apparently, is the lack of any agenda. Apparently, just nothing to talk about”, he said at a press conference in Astana.

In this regard, Putin noted that he did not very understand how in this situation the US can criticize Russia’s actions in Syria, if they refuse direct dialogue.

He added that Russia “remains open” for discussion with all stakeholders on the situation in Syria.

Putin said that Nazarbayev was informed about the operation of the Russian Federation in Syria. “During the talks we discussed key regional and global issues, Putin said. – I informed Ruslan Nazarbayev on the main outcomes of the meeting “channel four” in Paris, as well as the development of the situation in Syria and our actions in suppression of terrorist activity in this country.” Putin added that Russia supports Nazarbayev announced the initiative to unite the efforts of different countries in the fight against terror. Earlier, the Kazakh leader proposed to convene a forum devoted to this subject.

Earlier, White house press Secretary Joshua earnest said that the reason the US refused to receive a delegation of the Russian Federation became the unwillingness of Moscow to “constructively contribute” to the fight against terrorist group “Islamic state” (IG).
