Earlier, the labour Ministry has proposed indexing the minimum wage from 1 January 2016 11.9%, in its turn, the Ministry of Finance suggested that increasing the minimum wage by 7% from 1 October.

YALTA, 16 Oct. The minimum wage in 2016 will be indexed by 4%, said to journalists in Yalta, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets.

“The minimum wage next year will be like all payments, indexed at 4 per cent,” she said.

In August, she said that believes that the minimum wage in Russia should be improved, however, consensus in the government yet, there are difficult discussions.
