Kadyrov: Russia does not need to fear condemnation in connection with the death penalty for terrorism


GROZNY, October 16. Russia does not need to fear condemnation from the international community if will be introduced the death penalty for terrorism. The state and so declared sanctions from many countries, told journalists in Grozny Chapter Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov.

“Many countries and so announced to us sanctions If the President would make (a bill to impose the death penalty for terrorism – ed.), I am sure that deputies will support. Because it is necessary for our state. If we think that the situation in Syria will be quickly solved, is a lie. These groups were created in the first place against Russia,” – said Kadyrov.

On Thursday Kadyrov in interview to TV channel “Russia 24” stated the need to enter in Russia for terrorism, the death penalty. “It is necessary for Russia. Because to feed them (terrorists – ed.), keep them in prisons is wrong. They disturb there, and there they recruit people… They must be destroyed”, – he stressed.

As noted on Friday morning, a member of the state Duma Committee on civil, criminal, arbitration and procedural legislation Rafael Mardanshin (United Russia), the question of imposing the death penalty, including with regard to terrorists, Russia is not considered. He recalled that “in the framework of the international Convention for the death penalty in Russia is not applied”.

Day President’s press Secretary Dmitry Peskov told journalists that Putin was not informed about the Kadyrov’s proposal to introduce the death penalty for terrorism, as the head of state “occupied the CIS-related problems”.
