Decisions on frequencies and international routes will be taken in the interdepartmental Commission, said the Deputy head of FAS Anatoly Golomolzin.
MOSCOW, 16 Oct. The decision on the allocation of international routes Transaero will be made with due consideration of affiliation of the airline, told reporters Deputy head of the FAS Anatoly Golomolzin.
The airlines of S7 group previously submitted to the Interdepartmental Commission to issue permits for performance of international flights while the Ministry of transport’s request to perform 24 international flights “Transaero” from 154. The source reported that Aeroflot, which assumed most of the liabilities for passengers of “Transaero” and current payments in support of flights of the troubled airline, has applied to the implementation of 56 international routes.
“We know that some airlines already apply for frequencies on international routes. Decisions will be taken in the interdepartmental Commission. There are criteria for making decisions. In particular, we are talking about the factor of affiliation of different companies, of taking into account what volume of feature frequencies. Therefore, decisions will be taken in the framework of this Institute”, — said Golomolzin.
The largest Russian privately owned airline Transaero has been unable to service debts, which form together with the leasing obligations of about 250 billion rubles. The creditors are considering the option of bankruptcy of the airline. Sale of tickets for flights of “Transaero” was discontinued, and its passengers are transported by other airlines, mainly included in the group “Aeroflot”.
