The FAS does not expect deficit of gasoline in Russia after transition to Euro-5

MOSCOW, October 16. The Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS) the Russian Federation does not expect shortages of gasoline in 2016 in connection with prohibition of circulation on the domestic market of gasoline of environmental class 4 and Euro-5. This was reported to journalists the Deputy head of FAS Anatoly Golomolzin on the sidelines of the conference “Antimonopoly regulation”, organized by newspaper “Vedomosti”.

“We do not expect shortages of gasoline”, – he said.

Golomolzin has reminded that the turnover of fuel of Euro-4 by the government’s decision was extended until July 1, 2016.

“If the resource is not enough, for example the fuel of the fifth class, then you need to extend the use of the fourth class,” he said.
