MOSCOW, 18 October. Russia and Iran intend to continue active contacts on issues of the Middle East. As reported in the Russian depodesta, it was arranged by the special envoy of the Russian President for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy foreign Minister of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov and Iran’s Deputy foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, which yesterday held a telephone conversation.
“The main attention during the conversation was paid to the development of the situation in Yemen and possible ways to resolve the crisis in this camp, – have informed in the Russian foreign Ministry. – Also addressed a number of topical issues of the state of Affairs in the Arab – Iranian relations”. “It was agreed to continue active contacts between Moscow and Tehran by the foreign ministries on middle East issues”, – reported in the Russian depodesta.
