BEIJING, 19 Oct. Zhanna Manukyan. The growth rate of China’s GDP in the third quarter of 2015 slowed to 6.9%, the worst figure since March 2009, according to the report of the State statistical Bureau of China.
“According to preliminary data, China’s GDP in the first quarter in annual terms amounted to 7% in the second quarter to 7% in the third quarter of 6.9%,” — said in the report.
The rate was slightly above the expectations of economists, who had expected a slowdown of the Chinese economy in the third quarter to 6.8%.
In March this year, Premier Li Keqiang announced that the government expects in 2015, GDP growth is near 7%. In the first two quarters of the current year GDP grew by 7%, exceeding analysts ‘ expectations.
