Fund of development of monotowns will invest in Kumertau 4.3 billion rubles


By 2020 in the Bashkir Kumertau should be created 520 new jobs. Until the end of November will be prepared the application and the end of the year will be allocated to the advance – about 400 million rubles.

UFA, 19 Oct. Ramil Salikhov. The government of Bashkortostan signed with the Fund of development of monotowns, the agreement on investment of 4.3 billion rubles of investments in development of monocities in Russia, said the representative of the press service of the head region.

“The agreement provides for the formation of necessary conditions for creating new jobs and attracting investment in the single-industry town. For example, by 2020 should be created 520 new jobs and invested about 4.3 billion rubles of investments”, — said the source.

“The agreement includes the possibility of co-financing of construction of objects of engineering infrastructure for new projects, the implementation of these investment projects and joint training of managerial teams”, — told reporters the head of the working group on modernization of monotowns at government Commission on economic development Irina Makieva.

According to her, until the end of November will be prepared the application and the end of the year will be allocated to the advance — about 400 million rubles.

In the Bashkir Kumertau is a town-forming enterprise — Kumertau aviation production enterprise (KumAPP), part of the holding “Helicopters of Russia”. In the beginning, the plant management reported a reduction of almost 700 people from non-business disciplines. “The situation in the city today is not easy, the Kumertau helicopter plant is not feeling well for various reasons — subjective and objective. We know that. I hope with Your help we will be able to move forward and, by signing the agreement, we will work together”, — said the head of Bashkortostan at the signing of the agreement.

Nonprofit organization “Fund of development of monotowns”, established by Vnesheconombank in October 2014. Its goal is the creation of single-industry towns with the most difficult socio-economic situation of jobs not related to major enterprise, and engaging in monocities investment by implementing infrastructure and investment projects.
