MOSCOW, October 19. Meeting with U.S. Secretary of state John Kerry on the situation in Syria at the highest level in Moscow is not planned. This was stated to journalists the President’s press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.
“No, we are not talking about the highest level”, – he said, answering a question about the plans of Moscow to the meeting previously announced by Kerry.
Sands also advised to seek more detailed clarification from the Russian foreign Ministry.
Kerry said earlier that the authorities of Russia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Jordan to discuss the Syrian crisis. In his words, Washington seeks a way to find a political solution to the conflict in Syria. “I will seek agreement with the leaders of Russia, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Turkey and other countries,” the Secretary said.
