MOSCOW, October 19. The Rosselkhoznadzor has allowed eight Swiss companies supplying cheeses and prepared meat products in the Russian Federation. On Monday the Agency reports.

“The results of joint inspections conducted in the period from 8 to 19 February 2015 the Rosselkhoznadzor and the Federal office for veterinary and food security of Switzerland, eight of 13 inspected for Swiss enterprises have received the right supplies to the Russian Federation of products of animal origin (cheeses and prepared meat products)”, – stated in the message Rosselkhoznadzor.
It is noted that February 2015 is scheduled negotiations specialists to consider the possibility of supplying products of the other five companies.
As told earlier the Rosselkhoznadzor, in some regions of Russia the share of counterfeit cheese (using a vegetable oil – approx. ed.) reaches 78%.
“According to the study, in some regions of Russia the share of counterfeit cheese is from 50 to 78%. But this is a selective study”, – said the assistant head of Department Alexey Alekseenko, noting that details the Agency intends to announce later.
“Research has revealed an extremely dangerous trend – a significant amount of fraud in the food market,” he said. According to Alekseenko, it is about falsification not only in the dairy sector.
