MOSCOW, October 19. Ukrainian airlines asked the aviation authorities to allow flights in Russia during the winter season. It is reported by the Federal air transport Agency.

“Despite the fact that the Ukrainian side initiated the termination of air communication, in Rosaviatsia has received a letter from LLC “Airline “Atlasjet Ukraine” with a request for the opening of the winter navigation season 2015/2016, flights on three routes: Kiev – Moscow, Odessa – Moscow and Kiev – St. Petersburg”, – stated in the message Department.

Also with the request to open flights in the winter season 2015/2016, on the route Kiev – Moscow and Lviv – Moscow appealed LLC “Airline “UTair-Ukraine”.

According to information provided by the press service of the Agency, Ukrainian company LLC “Airline “Atlasjet Ukraine” is planning to get permission from the Federal air transport Agency, “citing the “long-standing kinship and socio-economic ties between citizens of Ukraine and Russia” and that “there was an urgent need for direct air travel in the interests of the citizens of the two countries”.

“Sharing approaches to the development of air services between the two countries on the basis of the provisions referred to in the letter of the Ukrainian company, Federal air transport Agency October 16, 2015 was sent to the state aviation service of Ukraine a letter with suggestions to immediately negotiate complex issues in the field of air transportation, in the Ukrainian side”, – stated in the message.
