Putin awarded President of Nicaragua with the order of Friendship


Ortega Saavedra josé Daniel award for his great contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation with Russia, development of economic relations, preservation and popularization of Russian language and culture abroad, says the decree of the Russian President.

MOSCOW, 20 Oct. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin awarded the order of Friendship by the President of Nicaragua Daniel Ortega, the corresponding decree published on the official portal of legal information Tuesday.

“For the big contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation with Russia, development of economic relations, preservation and popularization of Russian language and culture abroad award the order of Friendship of the Ortega Saavedra Jose Daniel — President of the Republic of Nicaragua” — from the document.

Award also was awarded to the Chairman of the Board of the South Korean group of companies “Lota” Shin Dong-Bin and Director of Beijing center of Slavic studies at Capital normal University China Liu Wenhai. Just the order of Friendship will receive six foreign state and public figures.

Also, according to this decree, the Russian leader awarded medals of Pushkin eight foreign figures of culture, science and art.
