Russia sees the extension of Amari airbase in Estonia as a provocative step


MOSCOW, October 20. Russia considers the plans for the extension of Amari airbase in Estonia for the needs of NATO as openly provocative step. This was stated by the Russian foreign Ministry.

“In light of ongoing speculation about the need for deployment of additional permanent military presence of the countries-members of the Alliance and, above all, US on the “Eastern flank” of the block under consideration announced cooking as openly provocative step whose goal is the destabilization of the situation in one of the traditionally most stable from the point of view of military security in the regions of Europe”, – stated in the Russian dipvedomstva.
