MOSCOW, 20 Oct. The Bank of Russia accredited the Agency of economic information “Prime” on carrying out actions on information disclosure on securities and other financial instruments, the regulator said on Tuesday.
Russian issuers, in accordance with applicable securities laws, must disclose information on their financial position. At the beginning of the current year entered into force the new procedure of accreditation and requirements for news agencies authorized to disclose this information to their appliance, and employees.
Establishes the procedure of withdrawal of accreditation: if the Agency does not comply with prescribed requirements, eliminated or brought to administrative responsibility.
Previously accredited agencies have over a year to confirm your eligibility and obtain a new accreditation by the Central Bank.
