Deputy economic development Minister of the Russian Federation Oleg Fomichev said that it was necessary to return to work within the framework of the main activities of the government and to balance short-term measures and not to accept the new plan.
MOSCOW, 20 Oct. The anti-crisis plan for 2016 should not be adopted, the government should come back to the work planned in the framework of the main activities, said state Secretary, Deputy Minister of economic development of RF Oleg Fomichev at the meeting of the public Council of the Ministry.
“While we, rather, believe that the new plan is no need that we need to return to the work planned in the framework of the main activities of the government and balance the short-term measures are taken, measures that are needed in order to develop further”, — said Fomichev.
The authorities of the Russian Federation in January this year amid worsening situation in economy, the collapse in oil prices and the devaluation of the ruble has taken anti-crisis measures. However, already from mid-year officials began to publicly declare that the worst predictions did not come true, and not all measures to support the economy have been applied in full.
This year the Ministry of economic development predicts a decline in GDP by 3.9%, but in 2016, according to the Ministry, economic growth resumed and will reach 0.7%.
However, the government decided to create anti-crisis Fund for 2016 in the amount of 342 billion rubles for these purposes has frozen pension savings of citizens for 2016.
