MOSCOW, October 21. The Russian government approved the state program of the Chelyabinsk region, Altai region and Nenets Autonomous district to assist the voluntary resettlement of compatriots living abroad. Appropriate orders placed Wednesday on the website of the Cabinet.
The decisions “will increase employment potential” of these regions that will contribute to their “socio-economic and demographic development”.
Financing programs are at the expense of subsidies provided from the Federal budget, and at the expense of regional budgets.
In the framework of the program “it is planned to create the legal, institutional, socio-economic information and to facilitate the voluntary resettlement of compatriots living abroad, for permanent residence”.
This will assist the voluntary resettlement in the Chelyabinsk region up to 6675 compatriots, in Altai Krai – up to 5170, Nenets Autonomous Okrug up to 290 compatriots.
