GORKI, October 21. The main fork on the draft Federal budget for 2016 is completed, the main decisions have been taken, said Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev at a meeting with members of the Expert Council under the government.

“Today the main fork on the budget are passed, decisions taken in General, including taking into account the expert community”, – said the head of the Cabinet, noting that “to the end of the week the budget bill will go to the State Duma”.
Medvedev once again stressed that “the budget will be tight, but, according to the government, fully adequate to the current economic situation”.
According to him, in the 2016 budget year totals current estimates of the basic parameters of development, in General “to the extent possible it is balanced”, but there are some nuances.
The Prime Minister also noted some of the changes in macroeconomic parameters, the dynamics of which in some way is changing.
Speaking about the economic trends that have emerged in the second half of the year, Medvedev said they indicate that “the original projections on how the situation will develop this year with the economy largely coincide with what is happening; yet persist and challenges”.
At a meeting with members of the Expert Council, the Prime Minister also urged to discuss the development of the Russian Federation in the long term.
“It should not simply be a declarative document, but, nevertheless, some approaches need to build for the future,” he said.
As previously reported, Medvedev at the meeting with the Expert Council under the government planned to discuss the process of preparing the strategy for socio-economic development of the country until 2030.
