Naryshkin, Shuvalov and Dvorkovich has received awards from the President


MOSCOW, September 29. The Chairman of the state Duma Sergey Naryshkin, first Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Igor Shuvalov and Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich today received awards from the President. The ceremony took place in the Embassy of the Republic.

Naryshkin awarded the order of Honour for his personal contribution to the preparation of the Treaty on the Eurasian economic Union and the development and expansion of integration processes, strengthening of economic cooperation between Belarus and the Russian Federation .

In thanksgiving speech, the speaker of the state Duma noted that the presentation of awards speaks about the special relationship between Russia and Belarus, as these countries are the closest and reliable partners in the economic, social, humanitarian spheres, in the field of defense and security, and this strategic partnership will continue to evolve and expand.

Igor Shuvalov and Arkady Dvorkovich was awarded the order of Friendship of peoples.

The first Vice-Premier of the RF government, upon receiving the award, noted that “now Belarus is preparing for a very important political event” – the presidential election. “For us, as for people who see Belarus as their friends, neighbors and maybe even family members, without interfering in any case in any of the processes that are required by the Constitution, however, want to convey not only words of gratitude the President and /to wish/ serious election victory, which will be very soon,” – said Shuvalov.

He also noted that under the leadership of the current President of Belarus “has achieved great success, of course, including with assistance of Russian Federation, about this too, forget not”. “Of all the States that were formed after the collapse of the Soviet Union, perhaps, worthy of all people live in the Republic of Belarus and in Russia. You are not poor, not very rich, but you people live decent, dignified development of the country”, – said the first Vice-Premier of the government of the Russian Federation.

The awards conferred by the decree of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, was presented by the Prime Minister of the Republic Andrei Kobyakov.

After the ceremony, the honored guests inspected the new building of the Business and cultural complex on the territory of the Embassy in Moscow, the construction of which was completed in 2015. The complex activities aimed at the development of mutually beneficial Belarusian-Russian cooperation and international cooperation and trade-economic, scientific-technical, informational, cultural and humanitarian fields. The area over 15 thousand square meters.
