Iran is Russia’s major trading partner, cooperation between the two countries is developing on the principles of friendship and mutual benefit, said the head of Ministry Alexander Novak.
MOSCOW, 21 Oct. Iran and Russia are at a new stage of partnership development, said Minister of energy Alexander Novak during his visit to Iran.
“Our trade and economic cooperation, humanitarian and political, develops historically on the principles of friendship, on the principle of mutual benefit and good neighborly relations”, — said Novak. “Iran is an important and major trading partner, we are at a new stage, a new level of development of our relations,” he said.
Novak, who is also the Chairman of the Russian-Iranian Commission on trade and economic cooperation, October 21, visited Iran. The trip involved representatives of the largest Russian energy and transport companies. Among them the representatives of “Zarubezhneft” and “Gazprom Neft”, “Bashneft”, “Rosneft” and “Gazprom” and “Surgutneftegaz”. From the power companies in the visit of the Minister of energy in Iran will take part in the management of “Russian grids”, “inter RAO UES”, “RusHydro”, “ENEKS”.
