Shares of Transaero airlines soared 40% on news of the deal with S7


Moscow. October 21. The Russian stock market opened on Wednesday a decline in blue chips amid falling oil prices and the fall of China, soared to 40% of actions “Transaero” on the news about buying its controlling stake, the airline “Siberia”.

By 10:01 the MICEX index amounted to 1718,09 points (-0.1%), RTS index – 869,53 paragraph (-0,7%), ruble prices of most blue chips on “the Moscow stock exchange” (MOEX: MOEX) grew within 1%.

This morning the dollar grew to ruble 62,32 (+0.2 per ruble).

The ruble decreased the rate of VTB shares (-0,4%), Gazprom (-0,3%), “Gazprom oil” (of -0.6%), LUKOIL (-0.2 Percent), Magnit (-0.2 Percent), “Mobile TeleSystems” (-0,3%), NOVATEK (-0,3%), Rosneft (-0.2 percent), Sberbank of Russia (-0,3%), “Surgutneftegaz” (-0,9%), “Tatneft” (-0,5%).

Action “Transaero” has jumped up to 9,51 rubles (+40% – maximum daily movement of shares on the stock exchange on the trading rules) on the news that the owner of PJSC “Airline “Siberia” (enters into group of S7 Airlines) Vladislav Filev has signed an agreement to purchase Alexander Pleshakov “not less than 51% of actions “Transaero”, said the representative of the S7.
