The Economic court of the CIS in Moscow discussed the decision of force majeure


Representatives of courts of the CIS discussed the judicial practice in cases related to Finance lease agreements, said the press service of the court. It noted that the meeting was chaired by the head of the Russian Supreme court, Vyacheslav Lebedev.

MOSCOW, 21 Oct. Representatives of arbitration and economic courts of the CIS countries at a meeting in the Supreme court of the Russian Federation discussed the decision of force majeure when considering international commercial disputes, reported in a press-service of the court.

“In the Supreme court of the Russian Federation took place the meeting of the Council of representatives of the Supreme arbitration, economic, economic and other courts of the Commonwealth of Independent States, resolving cases on disputes in the sphere of economy”, — noted in press service. The meeting was chaired by the head of the Russian Supreme court, Vyacheslav Lebedev.

Representatives of courts of the CIS held a discussion about the interaction between state justice and arbitration, problems of execution of decisions on administrative offences on the territory of a foreign state, and also discussed judicial practice in cases related to Finance leases.

After that, the Supreme court of the Russian Federation took place the Plenum of the CIS Economic court, which considered proposals for the development of international recommendations on establishment of force majeure by consideration of economic disputes.
