MOSCOW, 21 Oct. The government keeps the situation of “SU-155” under control, negotiations with potential partners, subject to certain conditions and possible support from the state ready to acquire part of the business of the construction company, said the first Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov in the framework of “government hour” in the state Duma.
“Now the government is a very large company that builds low-income housing is “SU-155”. We work quietly, without giving off any nervous signals… We are working with potential partners “SU-155″, which under certain conditions and with some support, maybe from the government, will undertake for the salvation of this company, but not as companies, but as separate blocks of business”, — said Shuvalov.
According to him, currently it is important that all citizens who have agreements for construction with the company, received housing. “We are now doing everything to ensure that all people who have such agreements, this accommodation has received. We will do it”, — stressed the first Vice Premier.
He also noted that the government in the current crisis will not support large strategic enterprises, as it did in 2008-2009 crisis years.
“We have, including at the Federal level, every day to do complicated work on how to solve the situation of large strategic companies. We promised in January that we under this crisis, in the framework of this anti-crisis plan, more just to save the company… shall not at Any price to save the company in order to preserve the owner, the government no longer intended. It is hard to do”, — said Shuvalov.
The first Vice Premier stressed that the government and regional authorities, as well as representatives of the Central Bank and the banking community on a daily basis are monitoring the situation closely.
