Two new airport will open in the North of Primorye until the end of the year


VLADIVOSTOK, October 21. /Corr. Marina Shatilova/. Two new airport will open in the Northern towns of Primorye until the end of this year. They will appear in the center of the mining industry in the region, the city of Dalnegorsk and one of the most remote villages of the Amur region, said on Wednesday Corr.TASS in the Department of transport of administration of Primorski Krai.

In Dalnegorsk now completed work on the construction of buildings, runways and taxiways. The operation of the airport scheduled to begin from December 1.

In the village of Amgu work is being done in the building of the new terminal, which is built taking into account the difficult weather conditions of the North of Primorye. Delivery of this object is planned for mid-November.

“In addition, we have initiated the overhaul of the airport in the village of Kavalerovo – first of all, the workers began building roof, then will the facade, in winter, go to interior decoration. To complete these works is planned for summer of 2016”,- noted in Department.

For the first nine months of the year, regional flights in Primorye took more than 14 thousand people. The volume of passenger traffic has grown 3.4 times compared to the same period last year. Currently, the aircraft DHС-6 TwinOtter acquired by the administration of Primorye, Aurora airline performs regular flights 18. In the route network included seven remote villages, Vladivostok and Khabarovsk. In the near future it is planned to open flights in five settlements of Primorye.
