RSPP and UIA created the Russian-Argentinean business dialogue


Agreement on the establishment of the Russian-Argentinean business dialogue have signed on Thursday in Buenos Aires the representatives of the Russian Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs (RSPP) and the Argentine industrial Union (UIA), according to a press release from the Union.

Signatures under the document were put member of the RSPP Board, General Director of JSC “FosAgro” Andrey Guriev, and the President of the UIA Adrian Kaufman. The agreement was signed in development of a Memorandum of understanding between UIA and RSPP adopted in December 2012.

“The main task of the business dialogue is to contribute to increasing trade turnover between Russia and Argentina through the development of economic relations and improvement of direct contacts between the industry associations of the two countries, and support private and entrepreneurial initiatives required to strengthen the Russian-Argentine business relations”, — stated in the message.

The first meeting of the Russian-Argentinean business dialogue is scheduled for spring 2016 in Moscow.

“Before the business dialogue aims not only to increase the trade turnover between our countries, but also to improve the exchange of technologies in the field of nuclear and conventional power, oil and gas and chemical industries”, — said Guriev at the signing ceremony.

He expressed the hope that the business dialogue will focus on the effective realization of bilateral cooperation in priority areas that were discussed at the Wednesday meetings video conference between the leaders of Russia and Argentina.
