“Aeroflot” talks with Sberbank about the transfer he operated four Boeing 747s, he also plans to take 20 of the planes from “VTB-leasing” and “VEB-leasing”.
LONDON, 22 Oct. Treaties of Aeroflot and Sberbank leasing aircraft on the verge of bankruptcy of airline “Transaero” will be concluded on market terms, without discounts, reported the first Deputy Chairman of Sberbank Maxim Poletayev.
Earlier, the head of “Aeroflot” Vitaly Saveliev said that the company is in talks with Sberbank about the transfer he operated four Boeing 747s, which are now leased from Transaero, and another 10 new Boeing-737-800, ordered that carrier. In addition, 20 aircraft “Aeroflot” plans to take “VTB-leasing” and “VEB-leasing” is the liners of Boeing-747, 777 and 767.
Sberbank is negotiating with Aeroflot, sees no problems with finding new customers leasing of aircraft from Transaero, said Poletaev. “The talks with Aeroflot go. We have no problem with the contract with Boeing, new aircraft, generally there are no problems,” — said Poletaev.
“We have the issue with Boeing-747. There are some issues, but this does not mean that we can’t fix. We do not experience”, — he added. He noted that the lease contract with “Aeroflot” will take place at the market price, without discount. “Naturally, we’re two of a public company”, — he told, answering an appropriate question.
“How can there be discount on contracts of leasing, when “Aeroflot”. If it will be Aeroflot, then we will re-negotiate based on market conditions, the quality of the aircraft. It will be a normal market arrangement based on our old good relations,” he said later to journalists Poletaev.
