Media: Transaero owed FIU nearly 900 million rubles

MOSCOW, 23 Oct. The airline “Transaero” owed to the Pension Fund of Russia (PFR) insurance contributions for employees in the amount of almost 900 million rubles, enforcement proceedings on forced debt collection was launched on 12 October, wrote in Friday newspaper “Izvestia”.

As reports the edition, on the initiative of the office of the FIU for the Central district of St. Petersburg initiated two cases against “Transaero”. The first thing to 157,1 million rubles, the second — on 721,7 million rubles. “Izvestia” write that the required amounts in the accounts of “Transaero” was not. The press service of the FIU newspaper reported that the troubled airline deducts the premiums from mid-2015.

“The airline’s debt began to accumulate from mid-year, “Transaero” had paid the premiums on time. Only now I approach the time required to withdraw funds from the accounts of the airline. We know which banks are in their accounts, these banks transferred to the collection order, and we expect the transfer of money, if any on accounts”, — have informed “news” the official representative of the FIU.

The representative of the FIU also noted that in the Fund are very pleased that the company has not recognized a bankrupt, because in this case they have the opportunity “to recover the arrears of these contributions to form the pension rights of employees “Transaero”.

Transaero airlines has been unable to service debts, which form together with the leasing obligations of about 250 billion rubles. Air operator certificate “Transaero” will be cancelled on October 26. Passengers transported by the airlines of Aeroflot group and others, including S7. On Tuesday evening it became known that the group shareholder of S7 airlines Vladislav Filev has signed an agreement to purchase not less than 51% of actions “Transaero”.
