Putin will hold Friday a working meeting with security Council

A meeting with permanent members of the security Council will not be bound by time for the meeting on the situation in Syria to Vienna, Russia’s foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of state John Kerry, said presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

MOSCOW, 23 Oct. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin will hold an operational meeting with permanent members of the security Council on Friday, reported the President’s press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.

“In the afternoon, the President will hold an operational meeting with permanent members of the security Council,” — said Peskov.

He added that the meeting will not be bound by time for the meeting on the situation in Syria to Vienna, Russia’s foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of state John Kerry.

“No, no correlation there whatsoever. Those are two completely different measurements. Moreover, members of senior management of Russia, who take part in such meetings, they are absolutely informed about the main events of the global agenda, which today is the meeting in Vienna”, — said Peskov.
