Peskov urged not to exaggerate the economic weakness of Russia


Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev said that the country has sufficient resources to hold a worthy place in the world.

LONDON, 23 Oct. Maria Tobacco. Press Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov urged not to exaggerate the economic weakness of Russia. According to him, the country has a “resource security”, which will allow it to maintain its rightful place in the world.

“No need to exaggerate the economic weakness of Russia,” Peskov said in an interview bi-Bi-si, in response to the leading remark about the terrible state of the Russian economy.

He acknowledged that the economy is not good enough, however, stressed that Russia has sufficient resources. “We have a resource security, which will allow us to retain its rightful place in international Affairs”, — said the press Secretary of the President.
