Poklonski: antichrista activity of Dzhemilev and Chubarov is obvious

SIMFEROPOL, October 23. /Corr. Alexey Konovalov/. The deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Mustafa Dzhemilev and Refat Chubarov who call themselves leaders of the unregistered in Russia Majlis, directed against Crimean Tatars and all Crimean residents. So the Prosecutor of the Republic Natalia Poklonskaya commented on the initiative of the ban in Russia of activity of the Mejlis.

“These actions directed against the interests of the Crimean Tatars. How is it possible to do something to the detriment of the people and say that it is in the interests of the people? No interests besides his political and personal, they do not pursue, – said the Prosecutor. – They (Dzhemilev and Chubarov) act to the detriment and against the interests of the Crimean Tatars is obvious”.

Poklonskaya clarified that it cannot go about banning a specific organization. “The Majlis is meant not as an organization, because it legally in Russia it is not registered. Mean movement – certain actions of individuals who associate themselves with a non-existent Parliament. And this activity, of course, could be inappropriate or extremist, she said. – Need to consider this issue, but there are certain procedures. Therefore, it is premature to talk about it”.

The Prosecutor noted that complaints about the actions of Dzhemilev and Chubarov at a regional office have already been received. In particular the Crimean Tatars protested in connection with performances of Dzhemilev and Chubarov from the Crimean Tatar people at the Congress in Turkey and also in connection with the announced Ukrainian activists of the so-called blockade of the Crimea.

The public chamber of the Russian Federation contacted the Prosecutor General with a request to check on the extremism of the Crimean Tatar Mejlis. In her letter she refers to the statements of Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea Ruslan Balbec, which he did in an interview with the Agency. The Balbec believes that grounds to ban the activities of Mejlis exist, because Crimean Tatars appeal to the authorities with such a request.
