MOSCOW, October 24. The oil price in the budget overly optimistic, told journalists the Chairman of the Duma Committee on budget and taxes Andrey Makarov.
“The government assumes that the average oil price will be $53 per barrel before the end of this year. From my point of view, this is rather optimistic, as the price of $53 per barrel for the plan period and $50 in 2016,” – said Makarov.
According to the forecast of Ministry of economic development, who on Friday was introduced in the state Duma, the oil price in 2015 will amount to $53 per barrel, and in 2016 will drop to $50 a barrel (it is from this forecast and laid out the draft budget for the following year). Then the oil price will start to slowly grow: up to $52 in 2017 and to 55 in 2018. There is a so-called conservative (pessimistic) scenario, relying which, the Ministry of economic development assumed oil prices at $40 per barrel in 2016-2018.
