In “Yandex” reported that at the moment the company has no specific plans to open additional offices in other countries.
MOSCOW, 25 Oct. A spokesman for the Russian Internet company “Yandex” Asya Melkumova also denied reports about the market of Iran, reported the radio station “Russian news service”.
Earlier, the Minister of communications and information technology of Iran Mahmoud Vaezi said that “Yandex” will open a representative office in Iran. He stressed that Russia and Iran will be able to use each other’s experience in the field of Internet technology and strengthen the information security of its citizens.
“We are always ready to discuss new partnerships, but currently we do not have specific plans to open additional offices,” said Melkumova.
The largest Russian Internet company “Yandex” has experience of entering foreign markets. In particular, in 2011, “Yandex” has started to work in Turkey. On Thursday, the company management declared readiness to enter the markets of the BRICS countries in the presence of local partners in the markets of these countries.
