MOSCOW, October 24. The Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of state John Kerry discussed the problem of initiating a political process in Syria and its external support. This was reported on Saturday, the Russian foreign Ministry on the results of telephone conversation of Ministers, held on the initiative of the American side.
“To promote the exchange of views that took place yesterday in Vienna, the debate continued on the tasks of the organization of the political process between the Syrian government and a joint delegation of the Syrian opposition and ensure a truly representative external support of these efforts using the potential of all leading economies of the region,” he said in depodesta.
On Friday the foreign Ministers of Russia, USA, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey held a meeting in Vienna, during which they discussed the situation in Syria and the middle East.
