The airline Norwegian Air has suspended flights between Oslo and Saint Petersburg


ST. PETERSBURG, October 24. The airline Norwegian Air Shuttle has suspended its flights between Oslo and St. Petersburg, which served since 2006. “Regular direct flights between St. Petersburg and Oslo were carried out two times a week on Boeing 737-800 aircraft, – said the press Secretary of the St. Petersburg company Margarita Potekhina. – With the beginning of the autumn-winter season 2015-2016, the carrier suspends flights in the direction indicated”.

Specialists of the tourism industry explain the care of a Norwegian airline from St. Petersburg a fall in demand for tickets due to the weakening of the ruble, however, the data of the airport “Pulkovo” indicate that for 8 months of 2015, the passenger traffic between Oslo and St. Petersburg increased by 34%: if in January-August 2014 transported a total of 13.4 million passengers, over the same period 2015 – 18 thousand.
